벤로막 15년 (Benromach 15YO)은 퍼스트 필 오크 캐스크와 셰리 캐스크에서 숙성을 거쳐 만들어집니다. 이번에 테이스팅한 벤로막 15년은 2015년 새로 릴리스 된 버전입니다. 2015 릴리스는 Ex Boubon 캐스크와 First Fill Sherry 캐스크를 숙성에 사용하였습니다. 이전 버전의 벤로막 15년에 비해 퀄리티가 월등하다는 인상을 받았습니다. 이 위스키를 대표하는 키워드는 "유려함"이라고 설명할 수 있을 것 같습니다. 묵직한 바디감을 지니면서도 다채로운 캐릭터가 느껴지고, 달콤하고 부드러우면서도 피니쉬의 스파이시함까지 매끈하게 이어집니다. 다양한 대회에서 입상한 어마 무시한 이력을 지니고 있습니다. 2020년에는 위스키 익스체인지의 위스키 오브 더 이어의 위너로 선정된 위스키입니다.

위스키 안의 캐릭터들이 순식간에 느껴지고, 흩어진다. 우드와 허브가 흐름이 산만하지 않게 잘 받쳐주어 몹시 유연하고 유려한 느낌이 든다. 피니쉬까지 연결이 탁월한 흐름을 유지한다. 세련되게 차려입은 중후한 매력의 중년 신사의 느낌.
